Job Overview:
Blackcup Digital, an up-and-coming digital marketing agency, is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented individual for the position of Digital Marketing Inside Sales Representative/Account Executive. This position will be responsible for selling digital advertising services to small businesses in British Columbia, with a primary focus on lead generation, client acquisition, and ongoing account management.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation: Identify and research potential leads in the BC market using various sources, including databases, online directories, industry associations, social media, and referrals.
2. Client Acquisition: Proactively reach out to small businesses throughout BC to introduce Blackcup’s digital advertising services, understand their unique needs, and demonstrate how our services can address those needs effectively.
3. Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough needs analysis with potential clients to understand their business goals, target audience, budget, and previous marketing efforts.
4. Proposal and Presentation: Prepare and present customized proposals that effectively articulate the value proposition, features, and benefits of Blackcup’s digital advertising services to prospective clients.
5. Sales Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients, keeping in mind the company’s profitability and client’s budget constraints.
6. Closing Sales: Convert qualified leads into clients by maintaining a consultative, customer-focused approach throughout the sales process, addressing any objections or concerns, and leveraging persuasive sales techniques.
7. Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction with Blackcup’s services. Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing any questions, concerns, or requests they may have.
8. Upselling and Cross-selling: Identify and capitalize on upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the existing client base to maximize revenue generation and increase client retention.
9. Market Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the digital marketing industry, including competitors’ strategies, market demands, and emerging technologies. Provide valuable insights to the team to enhance sales strategies and service offerings.
10. Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions in the CRM system. Submit regular reports to the Sales Manager on sales performance, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in inside sales, account management, or business development within the digital advertising industry.

Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.

Strong understanding of digital advertising, including search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), social media advertising, display advertising, and retargeting.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.

Exceptional negotiation and closing skills.

Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for sales and the ability to work independently.

Knowledge of the British Columbia small business landscape and marketing challenges preferred.
